... comfortable, affordable, and quiet - great places to bring your family or to come for a peaceful (or romantic!) getaway for one or several couples or friends...just minutes from Nags Head on the Outer Banks of North Carolina

Using guest comments, I try to identify several ways each year that I can make your stay more enjoyable, easier, or just better in some way.

For 2009, my plans include:

General-

- Adding a notebook to each unit with all the details included in my web pages. (I can't believe I never thought of doing this before!) I have found that most of the things guests call me to ask are included in my web pages, but they don't have access once they're here! This will include check-out details, information about local attractions, where everything is located, etc. I feel certain this will help!

- Adding either a guest book or extra pages to the notebook mentioned above where guests can leave suggestions and comments. These will help me improve, plus, getting ideas from other guests on special places to go would be a great new idea!

- Purchasing an additional tandem sit-in kayak.

- Purchasing better beach chairs and beach towels.

129A-

I haven't come up with many ideas for improving 129A, besides the general ones above. But, I'm always open for ideas!

I may try to add a king-size bed. Would that make the apartment more attractive?? (I fear it would make the bedroom too crowded.)

129B-

The comments I get the most for ways to improve 129B are always to add a range to the kitchen- which I can't do (code violation) and get rid of the light carpet. During the 2008 season, I added a new propane grill with a side-burner. But, it was too large to fit on the deck. So, I'll try harder in 2009!!

- Enlarging the deck to provide more seating space and a place for the new grill.

- Recarpeting the main room (the entry-room) with a darker, more versatile carpet that will show tracks less and look better. (A side benefit of this change is that I can fix the sqeaks in the sub-floor when I replace the carpet!)
